What does a layout study actually produce?
Each study produces a set of floor plan drawings and a written document explaining the reasoning behind each layout option. The Single-Plan study delivers two options for one zone; the Whole-Home study covers every floor. Documents are formatted for handover.
Does the study include furniture sourcing or purchasing advice?
No. Lumarae's scope covers layout planning, space optimisation, and documentation. Furniture sourcing, procurement, and purchasing are outside the remit of these studies — the documents are designed to inform those decisions, not substitute for them.
How long does a study take to complete?
The Single-Plan Layout Study typically takes 7–10 working days from the on-site visit. The Whole-Home study runs 14–21 working days depending on the scale of the property. The Commercial Workshop produces a draft document within 10 working days of the on-site session.
Is the on-site visit included in the stated price?
Yes, for properties within Petaling Jaya and adjoining areas of the Klang Valley. Properties further afield may involve a travel supplement, which is discussed and agreed before engagement starts.
What if I want changes after receiving the study?
The Single-Plan Layout Study includes one revision round. The Whole-Home and Commercial studies include two. Further revisions beyond those included are quoted separately before any additional work begins.
How do I know which study is appropriate for my situation?
Use the contact form to briefly describe the space and what you are trying to resolve. The studio will respond with a recommendation within two working days — at no charge and without any expectation that the engagement proceeds.
